Saving and Loading Jobs

All of the various fields and switches within the Filter & Zip window comprise (in combination) a Filter & Zip Job. Filter & Zip Jobs can be saved to the file system, which provides a number of advantages:

• Saved Filter & Zip Job files can be re-used simply by loading them at a later date.
• Filter & Zip Job files can be shared among multiple FolderSizes installations, either by saving them to a network drive or via some other means (e.g. emailing them to a remote office).
• Filter & Zip Job files can be easily backed up.

Filter & Zip Job files are stored in XML format and consume a relatively small amount of drive space.
